Marketing Intake Steps
- Requestor goes to Submit a Marketing Request page to submit a marketing request
- Copy / Imagery / Bug fixes: Submit a ticket
- Regional and Performance Marketing Requests: Submit a campaign page request
- All other requests (incl vendor work): Complete an initial brief
- If you’re unsure of the scope, submit a ticket and the Web Project Manager will follow up
- Submit your brief and sign up for a 15 minute timeslot to present your brief at an upcoming bi-weekly solutioning forum, where roadmap stakeholders will review which briefs should move to the solutioning phase
- *Regional teams: Planning forum is only if your brief may require creative resources
- We ask that you join the meeting up to 10 minutes before your scheduled timeslot in case the preceding timeslot ends early. You will be placed in a waiting room until it’s your turn to have your initial brief reviewed.
- During the bi-weekly solutioning forum, roadmap stakeholders will spend 5 min to review your brief and 10 min for Q&A. You will only be reviewing your initial brief submission. At the end of the solutioning forum, the stakeholders will have a 15 minute debrief to decide which briefs should move forward to solutioning.
- After the debrief, the requestor will be updated about the brief’s status. If the brief has moved to solutioning, you will collaborate with PM, Product Design, Engineering and Creative to gather requirements and on solutioning.
- If your brief did not move to solutioning, one of the meeting facilitators will give you that update
- The quarterly list of solutions will initially be stackranked by the initial prioritization stakeholders: Bryan Yip, Lisa Kant, Erin Pinkley, Betsy Field, Scott Morris
- The list from Step 6 will then get the final approval from Nishanth Babu, Alex Constantinople, Jeff Titterton to be added to the upcoming quarterly roadmap. This review will ideally happen 3 weeks before the new quarter begins.
